Re: Need a new electric dryer...
I also agree with Sears. I know several people that recommend them for appliances. We had Kenmore washer & dryer in my house for 20 year and they were still in good working condition when my parents sold the house.
Sears Kenmore
ETA: The other place that came recommended to me was Costco, but I don't know too much about the selection.

Re: Need a new electric dryer...
We just ordered the Kenmore HE4T set this weekend. It's not coming until the 27th, so I can't speak to how it works, but Consumer Reports really liked it.
I can't wait to get them, our current ones are awful. The dryer must be possessed and the door keeps flying open on it's own.

Check out the PC Richards scratch and dent store in Deer Park-they have front loaders that are maybe missing a hose and the deals are unbelievable. We bought a washer and dryer for $500!! Decent ones too

I too recommend Sears because they have a great payment plan so you can take your time paying it off. Since you're new in your house, I'm sure you have lots you want to do. So knowing that you pay it off slowly might be a good idea for you. Hey you might even be able to get that high end dryer you want. Definitely check out Sears.

I love the paying it off slowly plan that's how we have out LCD flatscreen and stainless stove ETA: thanks for the suggestions, researching them all now!
