need a new entry door :-(

What was supposed to be a simple project (change the mortise set in our front door) has turned into a NIGHTMARE! We have been told by 2 locksmiths that we need a new door due to the damage already on our door and the weak side walls.

We have been searching Lowe's, Home Depot, etc...and of course our door is not a standard size which is going to result in a pricey installation job on a standard door.

Has anyone bought a new door recently and can you recommend where you got it from?

Trying not to spend $3k on this venture which was supposed to be $300 for a new mortise lock set!

Shrink the rough opening with 2x4's to the required size a purchase the appropriate size door or special order a custom size from Home Depot or Lowes.

We shrunk our opening to fit a standard sized door.
