How are you related to the teen turning 16?
My niece just had hers and we bought her a this cute white gold diamond accent flip flop charm/necklace. She really liked it.
Originally, I considered getting her the Tiffany heart tag bracelet, but at $200 I passed on it. Maybe for her 21st birthday, we'll do that one.

I think something memorable is nice. We bought my sister the Tiffany tag bracelet and she loved it and was so surprised.
