Need a washer and dryer recommendation please(asap)
My dryer broke today and is too old to fix, so I am just going to go for a new washer and dryer. I will have to get it tomorrow because as you guys know you can not have a hubby and a few kids and NO washer/dryer.
So Tell me:
What brand do you have?
Front or Top Load?
Where did you buy it?
Did you price shop around?
What size is it?
Do you love and what do you dislike about it?

I have a GE washer and a Maytag dryer...(I had the matching washer, but it broke down on us and we replaced it with the GE)
I definately love front load washers...The clothes wash so much quicker and use half the detergent...They are practically dry when they come from the machine so it really cuts down on drying time which is great !
We got the largest capacity offered and I used to work for PC Richard so I was highly reccomended the ones we chose from the buyer ...

I have Maytag frontloaders (stacked) and am not a fan. LG is a great brand for washer/dryer, so is Whirlpool Duet.

We have a GE Profile Washer and Dryer. It got good reviews on Consume Reports. We shopped around and ended up getting them from Plessers - they had the best price!

My parents have the whirlpool front loaders. I love doing laundry when we are visiting. Lol.
