need advice
My DS was constipated and the ped said to give him prune juice and barley cereal until normal again. Not 2 hours after speaking with the ped he had a regular BM. Then skipped a day and then had another regular BM. He is formula fed, he will be 6 months on june 19th. So far no BM today. Should I feed him the barley cereal and prune juice or wait and see what he does?

I would also wait to see what he does. Is he uncomfortable at all? Have you been giving him any baby food? Sometimes bananas or any green veggies can do that.

We figured we would wiat too. He is only formula fed. The ped said to wait until 6 months to start cereal, etc. He has no fever and not uncomfrtable at all. He's laughing, playing and smiling. So I fugred that was a good sign. He mgiht be only having a BM every other day now. lIke I said his BM are normal not hard pellet like.

My ped told us that he may only have a BM every other day because he is formula fed.
