Need advice about stomach bug please
My 28 month old DD vomited at school this morning (around 10:25) and then again when DH had her in the car on the way home (10:40). She has been warm (100.8) and mushy all day.
DH gave her a few crackers and some banana for lunch. Then at dinner she ate a half piece of toast and maybe 5 bites of an egg. Then she started getting the panic, vomit look on her face and started crying that she was all done.
She keeps asking for milk. Should I give her milk before bed? Should I try to give her something else to eat (crackers, animal crackers?)? Not sure what to do----I don't want her to be hungry but I don't want her to get sick in the night.
I appreciate any advice.

I would give her water to keep her hydrated. If she is asking for food, give it to her, light stuff like crackers, cereal, toast. She will rest better with something in her belly then nothing at all. For the fever, try motrin. Hope she feels better soon

Re: Need advice about stomach bug please
DH, DS and I just got over it. We basically pushed water and juice on DS. He didn't want to eat much. We tried toast, but he wanted no part of it. It ran it's course in about 3 days, but he still complains of tummy aches, but he is eating again.
Good luck!
