Need advice and recommendations regarding debt, credit counselors, bankruptcy lawyers
I have a relative that is 65 who owes credit cards about $25,000. She is ill and has a lot of medical bills too. She lives on a fixed income and cannot work. She will soon need a new car and needs to move out of her apartment, and the new apartment will probably cost more money than she is currently paying.
I need to help her, but I have no place to turn. I know nothing about this type of situation, but this person really needs help. Who can I call to help with a situation like this? If anyone has any names of good bankruptcy lawyers or someone who helps with debt, I would appreciate it.
