Need advice!! Anyone awake!!! (Update on bottom)
I know it is late, and probably no one is up. I work overnights, and just came home early from work. I started getting bad cramps, worse then I usually do. They have been pretty constant, and they are getting me worried. It feels like bad menstrual cramps. I have no bleeding!! I also started to get the sweats, but that has gone away now. I have had cramps through out this whole pregnancy, but I haven't gotten any this bad since the beginning. Should I just rest and see if they go away, or should I call the doctor. Also, if they do go away, should I call the doctor in the morning? I'm 19 weeks today!!
I'm trying to drink a lot of water, in case I was dehyrdrated. I also had a piece of fruit, just in case I had low blood sugar. Maybe I just did too much today, not sure!!

Re: Need advice!! Anyone awake!!!
Put your feet up, drink the water and try to relax. Time the cramps and if it doesn't ease up, call your OB GYN. It could be Braxton Hicks. They started for me around 20 weeks.

That is what I'm going to do. Aren't Braxton Hicks not suppose to hurt. I feel the baby alot lately, so I'm hoping the baby will give me a little kick to tell me they are okay. The cramps are easing up a little, but are still there.

I agree. I have had lots of cramping throughout my whole pregnancy...some days worse than others and some that def freaked me out. Def take a load off, relax, drink water, and give it a little while. If they don't subside call the doc - that's what they are there for - even in the middle of the night. Feel better!

Re: Need advice!! Anyone awake!!!
Also if you are feeling the baby pretty consistently try drinking an ice cold glass of OJ and lay on your left side and see if you can feel some kicks.

That has happened to me before. It feels pretty bad, I was right around 18 weeks. I layed down on my side and drank water and it went away. Hope you're feeling better! XOXOXO BOTB

Re: Need advice!! Anyone awake!!!
Any updates? How are you feeling now?
I would guess resting and drinking water helped. Sometimes it's just cramping, sometimes it's the ligaments stretching, sometimes it could be a cyst... I actually just called my insurance company about this free maternity program and a nurse calls and talks to you. She said if you get something like that then it's not a concern (assuming there's not bleeding too, etc.) unless it lasts over an hour.

Re: Need advice!! Anyone awake!!!
This happened to me last week and I wound up going to the hospital because my dr's were both out.
Turned out to be round ligament pain and mild dehydration.
If you notice a "pattern" or you get extra fluid/bleeding, I would worry more.

Re: Need advice!! Anyone awake!!!(update)
Went to the Doctor today, and had all kinds of tests done. Everything is fine, thank goodness!!! I was still crimping today, but it has gotten better. I'm not dehydrated, but I might of been last night. Who knows!! I was at the doctors for 3 hours though!!!! All the doctors where stuck at the hospital. After 2 1/2 hours, I went out and asked if I could just go, since all the tests where okay. They had me see a nurse practitioner instead. Thank Goodness!!! The doctor I was suppose to see was delivering a baby and then got called in for a C-section. A lot of babies born today!!!

Good to hear all is ok.
I had cramping all throughout my first trimester and part of the second as well. Totally normal.

I have had cramping throughout as well, but last night was bad. So I thought something might be wrong. This pregnancy thing is so complicated!!!
