Need Advice From The Teachers
My youngest daughter's first grade teacher was exceptional. I want to write a letter to the principal detailing what an exceptional educator and person she is.
My questions are do I ask the principal to share this letter with the teacher??
Do I also CC the Board?? And, is it presumptuous of me to ask that this letter be entered into her HR file (in the letter itself, I said "if appropriate please include this letter in Ms. S's HR file")
Thanks for any help you can offer.

I would cc it to the teacher and to the board if you are very happy. The principal will probably share it , but you never know.

A parent just wrote me a wonderful thank you note and cced the principal and the superintendent. My principal said she would put it in my file. You may want to cc the superintendent for personnel.
It's really thoughtful of you to do this, and I am sure the teacher will really appreciate it.

WOW!! What a great parent you are! I think that is THE best gift a teacher could ever get. Feeling appreciated and having a parent put that appreciation into writing is just awesome! No advice on how to do it just want to comment.
