Need advice regarding Oil again
I found a company that you only sign a 6-month contract in lieu of a year. My thoughts why this is better and correct me if I am wrong, if I sign up now, my contract will be over in the Summer months when Oil is at a low. I can then negotiate based on the rates at that time, instead of if I sign up with a year contract, it will always be up in Oct when Oil is at a high.
Thoughts?
I think it's a winner, but I might not be thinking clear anymore

It's worth a shot to try for this year, and if it doesn't work out, you know for next year to go for the 1 year plan.

Re: Need advice regarding Oil again
YOu usually dont get oil deliveries in the summer...
You get say one delivery in April and then dont need one until October or so..
The water heater doesnt burn that much oil and you only go through about 5-10 gallons of oil per week when you arent heating your home..Most oil tanks are 275 gallon tanks.
