Need affordable crib recommendations for ILs
My ILs don't want to use the pack n play we gave them for our DD as they feel they will have difficulty bending down to place her in it, etc, so they want a crib they can set up in their guest room.
Any recommendations?
I'm going to check the Baby Bargains book, but thought I would ask for recommendations as well.
FYI: ILs will be the daycare provider, so they plan to use the pack n play as a play pen instead of a sleeper.

Re: Need affordable crib recommendations for ILs
We purchased a full-sized crib for my parents' house bc they were watching DS full-time. We wound up getting a fantastic crib at Buy Buy Baby. It got an A- i think in Baby Bargains. We paid about $200 bc it was a floor model and they were looking to get rid of it but it wasn't the actual crib out on the floor, they had it in the back bc they were looking to sell 2 of them. It had one insignificant scratch. We actually paid more for the mattress than the crib! The mattess was $250.
Anyway, I love the crib, it was a great buy and it's beautiful. We got really lucky. Sometimes I like it more than our crib from Behr's that cost almost $1K.
My advice is to just got to BBB and start looking around. Bring Baby Bargains with you so you can reference things. I think the crib we bought there is a Bonavita, not 100% sure though.
Because our DS was going to spend so much time at my parents house, we thought it was important for him to have the same mattress we had at home, so we purchased 2 Colgate mattresses, the 6 inch ones with both foam and springs (Monarch maybe?). I think this helped with him sleeping really well in both places.

My MIL has a Graco (I think the Lauren model?). They are about $150 at Walmart, and has lasted through 3 or 4 grandkids with no issues!
