Need Alternatives to waxing or shaving
Have you tried sugar wax? It's much more gentle than regular wax

I haven't. But my 2 issues with waxing are that it is pricey and it doesn't last one me anymore. The last few times I went I had stubble within a few days.
I can't afford laser nor do I have time for appts
My Venus razors always seem dull but when I use a new one it hurts! I never seem to get a smooth shave. Maybe I should try a new one.
I am wondering if anyone does at home treatments like hair removal products (Nair, Sally hansen, etc)

Re: Need Alternatives to waxing or shaving
I'm on my 4th session of laser for the bikini area (out of 6) and I wish I had done this years ago. It is wonderful!

Re: Need Alternatives to waxing or shaving
I hate Nair. I haven't used it since I was really young and I can still recall the smell of it. Also, after the first few times it stopped working at all! I think the only options are shave, laser, or wax. Or just go European and let it grow.

Try a razor with 4 blades. I use a Schick Quatro disposable and you get a much smoother shave with less irritation.

Need Alternatives to waxing or shaving
Maybe try an electric razor? They do make some that are specifically for the bikini area and they are much gentler than other methods. Doesn't last any longer than regular shaving though.

Re: Need Alternatives to waxing or shaving
With waxing, you can't go just once. Your hair grows in cycles, I think it is 3 so by the 4th or 5th time with no shaving at all in-between, all your hair should be on the same cycle. It also grows in a lot finer. I go to European wax Center by me and they always have packages. I purchased 9 sessions with 3 free up front(you can do 3 installments). I end up saving I think it is over a $100 and it lasts me the year. After this year though, I will be doing laser.

Re: Need Alternatives to waxing or shaving
I waxed last summer and I loved it until the regrowth. The itchiness was unbearable for 3-5 days. I can't do that! I may consider lazer although I hear au natural is coming back?
