Need an inexpensive hotel in NYC for tomorrow night...
in a decent area (I'll be staying by myself)...any suggestions?

I am not sure where you need to be but this search on hotels.com had quite a few options in the $100-150 ranger.
HOTEL.COM
This one is right around the corner from my office for $99 - I would stay there without hesitation.

I'm not familar with that hotel (but Radissons are usually fine), but I would also have no problem staying in
that neighborhood by myself. It is close to Penn Station & there are cabs around & subways nearby.

My sister's roommate works at the Milenium (sp?) Hotel in times square and she was saying that their rates for some nights were around $130- its a beautiful hotel and in an amazing area
