need an inexpensive kitchen table pref round
Any suggestions where to get one...I figure the kids are going to destroy it so don't want to spend too much but don't want it to look like cr@p either!!!

How big of a table? I had a solid wood round table (60 (or 72?) inch round) with 6 chairs in the kitchen and it held up beautifully..

I got one from Pier 1 before Colin was born and it is destroyed. I am getting a new one in a couple of months and buying solid wood from the woodmaking place in RVC (on N. Long Beach) and maintaining it with pads, etc.

I got a small round wood dining table and 4 chairs at Ikea in 2003 -- very cheap -- for my small one bedroom city apartment. I know have it in the eat in kitchen in my house, and it held up amazingly well!
Also, I have gotten good deals in the past by buying floor samples from Gothic Cabinet.
