Need Bakery Recommendations in Rocky Point area
Hi all,
We are having my DS's first birthday at J&R's steakhouse in Rocky Point (just a lunch with familiy). I wanted to get him a Mickey Mouse cake - but I don't know of a good bakery in that area to place my order so I can pick it up before the party.
Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

I'm pretty sure this is where my sister goes. She lives in Sound Beach. She says they are very good.

Re: Need Bakery Recommendations in Rocky Point area
I just called them and they don't do actual Mickey Mouse shaped cakes - just a sheet cake with figurines on top.. I was looking for more of an actual Mickey Mouse cake. Any more ideas? I live out in Ridge so anything out East would be great!
Thanks!

Audreys in Sayville does shaped cakes. You can try Rolling Pin in Setauket, Create a cake in Port Jeff, or Benkerts in Centereach. All are good, but I'm not sure if they will do shaped cakes.

ITA w/all of these suggestions. Benkert's did my husband's groom cake - it looked and tasted amazing.

I get my cakes from Julie from Fatty Cakes and Bakes, she lives out there and does it from home. She has a blog with pics and her email address.
