Need black maternity dress.
Grandpas in hospice. Looks like I'll need a black dress before Christmas. Probably not enough time to order one on line. Suggestions of where to go? Western Suffolk, South Shore? I looked in Motherhood in a Bay Shore today and couldn't find one. I can try destination maternity but it's so far I'm not sure when I'll get there.
I figure black pants, dark tops will be fine for the wakes, but I will need a dress for the funeral. I can't believe this is happening! He was so excited about his first Great Grandchild, he had only a few months to go to meet her.

As far as where to get a black dress, check Old Navy or Target or even a non maternity in a larger size.

Thanks my dad said the doctors don't think he'll make it to Thursday, so they are just trying yo keep him comfortable until he goes.

also if you aren't that big you may fit into non maternity dresses (a jersey dress)

I bought a couple dresses for wake/funeral from Asos. If you want to borrow you're more than welcome. One dress has 3/4 length sleeves and is knee length.

My mom found my a black dress at a Kohls near the hospital today. My Kohls has such a tiny maternity section, I never have any luck and always have to order on line. But she found a dress and it fits well. It's sleeveless though, but I can wear a sweater over it. At least I found something.
Now hoping for a miracle so I won't need it.
