Need bra help/advice
So this pregnancy, my cup size hasn't increased, just my band size.
I know that this is because my lungs and ribcage have expanded, and they will go back down after I give birth (at which point I will need nursing tanks, I try and avoid bras because they aren't as convenient or comfortable since I am so big-chested).
I can wear a 36DD on the last hook or a 38DD on the first hook. If I am being honest the 38 fits a little better and is more comfortable - but I know that when I give birth it will be too big! I HATE wasting $$ on bras.
WWYD? They are on sale ($19) and I will be using a gift card.

Re: Need bra help/advice
Get the larger size so you are comfortable.
I'm a 38DD normally, and this pregnancy I haven't changed.
With B, I went from a 38DD to a 42E
You are not wasting $$$, you are becoming comfortable. I can now wear my old maternity bras as hats. Dual purpose.

Thanks for the fashion tip.
I think that's what I'll do. They are inexpensive enough and I'm sure I'll be able to use them through March at least (and when I go out without DD).

Re: Need bra help/advice
Definetly go with the more comfortable one. I just bought some today and I know they won't fit in the end but at least they are comfortable now.

Re: Need bra help/advice
i wouldn't buy a larger size - i'd go to target and buy the bra extenders. you get 2 tan, 2 white, and 2 black for $6

ITA - I have been using bra extenders my entire pregnancy and they were really cheap. I didn't know Target carried them - I got them at a fancy lingerie store - they were still under $10.

I have those and I HATE them or else I totally would have done that! FOr some reason they are so uncomfortable on my back. Thanks for the advice though!

Have you tried washing them a few times? Mine started out a little scratchy but softened up nicely after washing and now I don't even feel them there.

It's not that they are scratchy - they feel too "bumpy" if that makes sense. I am weird, I know

I don't think you're weird. You might want to try another brand, but if they're uncomfortable, then you're better off getting the bigger size bra. Pregnancy's uncomfortable enough - no need to make matters worse
