need camera help.. just bought digital in Sept- dropped it and
now the switch is broken to see the pictures you just took, take a movie, etc... I bought it at Best Buy on my Amex, didnt take the extra insurance.....
again, just bought in Sept, only a month and a half old... what are my chances they will fix it for me or take it back and exchange for another one? is there another way around this??? i am so upset by this!!! it still takes pics i just cant go back to see them!!!

Doesn't Amex have a policy to replace things like that (or stolen things?)
I would imagine that it's w/in the manufacturers 1 year standard warranty policy- so you'll have to send it to them directly.

OMG, the same thing happened to me, but my camera was more than a year old, so I ended up buying a new one. I still use the broken one sometimes, but I had to get a card reader to get the pictures off since I couldn't move the switch. I would definitely try the warranty....GL

when i call them do i tell them i dropped it.. what should i say exactly? what do they do? do they replace it? have it get fixed???
