Need Christmas Card Wording Help
This is our first christmas together married so we are going to be sending out christmas cards...
I'm making a card with a picture of our dogs wrapped in christmas lights :) and am stuck on the wording.
I want to wish everyone a merry christmas and happy new year and some how rhyme it by ending with "from the new mr. & mrs"
I was thinking:
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with hugs & kisses from the new mr & mrs!
is that too corny? the whole hugs & kisses? anyone have something a lil more "adult" that rhymes with Mr & Mrs?

Re: Need Christmas Card Wording Help
Not much rhymes with "Mrs", but you can play around with it a bit.
We hope you find what your bliss is Just like the new Mr. and Mrs.
I'm not thrilled with it, but it's something to get the thinking process going in a different direction.....

Re: Need Christmas Card Wording Help
I actually think Christmas kinda/sorta rhymes with "Mrs."-- not great, but enough that you can get away with it!

Re: Need Christmas Card Wording Help
What do you guys think of this... my husband is of no use to me with this
Our first Christmas as Husband and Wife, with Fred and Mia wrapped up in lights. Wishing Everyone a Christmas Full of Cheer, and a Happy Healthy New Year.
With Hugs & Kisses the New Mr. & Mrs.

I'd cut out the "With Hugs & Kisses the New Mr. & Mrs."...I think it sounds better without it and still addresses the fact that you're newlyweds.
