Need coming home outfit ideas for March (baby boy)
March is one of those in between seasons, but this will be early March.
Not only is the weather throwing me off, but is March clothing still winter styles, or more spring?
DD was born in June, which made it easy.
I'm totally stuck!
TIA!

Need coming home outfit ideas for March (baby boy)
I am due in March too- I think I am going to get a cute knit one piece outfit. I found a pink and white stripped one (It also comes in blue and white) I like at Baby Gap. I figure I will also bring a blanket to cover her in the car seat. The weather is impossible to predict-especially that time of year.

Re: Need coming home outfit ideas for March (baby boy)
i would do long sleeve/pants piece and feet covered but I wouldnt worry about making it warm. I would just see if i could borrow or get one of the covers that go over the car seat that keep the baby warm without a jacket.
ETA: thats what i am doing and i am having a novemember baby
this is what i am bringing the baby home in (along with matching hat and bib)

I had my DS in mid March of 2011 and he was still in a bundle me when we left the hospital, on his first birthday we were all wearing short sleeves and this last spring seemed more like winter... So I would try to still have a warm enough bundle me type thing that you can just return if needed. And a cotton one piece to wear underneath.

Probably something long sleeve, pants, feet covered, and blankets if needed. No Bundle Me and here is why!

I just saw what you're talking about! SO cute!! I love it in the gray and white! May be ordering it soon!
I have a bundle me from my DD, the shell kind that fits over the car seat like a shower cap that I plan to use. (I was smart and got gray incase I had a boy in the future!

It amazes me they can sell the bundle me, etc. knowing that it is not safe in the car seat.

I know! But, you can still use it in a stroller. Also the shower cap type that the above poster mentioned is supposed to be ok because it goes over the seat and not in it.

I'm also due in march and wil probably use a one piece sleep and play type outfit with a blanket. that is how i brought home DS #1 in October. it happened to be a cold rainy day the day we brought him home.

My son was born mid March. I brought him home in a cute little penguin themed outfit from Gymboree. Long sleeves, pants, onesie, hat. Covered him up with a blanket inside of the Kiddopotamus Posh Pouch on his infant carrier.

we didnt use the bundle me for the cat seat, but we do use it now with the stroller
we have something like this for the infant carrier and we loved it...i dont think there are any safety issues with it. the one i have is a bit older and i dont know the brand but its super warm. took dd out for walks in feb & march with just this, no coat, and she never felt cold
im not sure how heavy/warm these are but here are some options...
http://www.buybuybaby.com/store/product/summer-infant-reg-posh-pouch/130496
http://www.buybuybaby.com/store/product/tivoli-couture-infant-car-seat-jacket-in-grey/1040897257
http://www.buybuybaby.com/store/product/jj-cole-reg-car-seat-cover/128997
we brought dd home in Feb- she was in a sleep n play with the carrier cover linked above we had a cute outfit with pants, but the thought of taking pants on and off every time we had to change a diaper would have been a pain - dd was a poop machine!

I'm due early February, so I picked out these for coming home (will return whichever gender Baby S turns out not to be)
