Re: need dressy jeans
Express has trouser jeans, meant to fit like pants, if that is what you mean by dressy.

Re: need dressy jeans
thanks. i guess i should specify i meant "dressy" as in going out nicer, jeans with dressy top jeans, (not the running around errands, supermarket jeans.

Re: need dressy jeans
I have a great pair of jeans from Arden B that are my "dressy" jeans. I wear them with dressy tops and sexy heels. I also have a great pair from Express. I forget what they are called - Vixen maybe???
Go for a slight flare leg instead of straight or bootcut if you want to give the appearance of a leaner leg.

Re: need dressy jeans
thanks i usually like a slight boot cut (gap) but so many of the flare's start flaring too high and make my thighs look HUGE. i'll check those out. what i really should do is drop 10lbs!

I wear Express W31 jeans boot cut. the cut is great for shapely girls. a good pair of jeans will make you LOOK like you dropped 10 pounds. you don't need to lose weight to look good

I have larger hips / thighs (compared to the rest of me) and found Citizens of Humanity to be the best fit!

ny & co has trouser jeans too. They're really cute.
eta: they also have very cute jeans for going out to dinner or to a bar or something. they're the Platinum jeans... they're great! and it sounds like i have the same body type as you, so you'll probably love them.

Re: need dressy jeans
the best investment ever for me was my joe jeans honey.
they are meant for girls w/ an endowed bottom and come in a really nice dark wash - so those are totally my "dressy" jeans. high heels ONLY with them.

Hmmm, I am not sure which style I have. I just went to Bloomies and tried on about 10 different pairs until I found ones that looked good!
I had to have mine hemmed, but a good tailor will sew back the original bottom for you and you can't even tell they were hemmed!!!!
Good luck!
