Need Encouragment
So up until about a year and a half ago i was in really good shape.. worked out about 4 days a week and watched what i ate like crazy.. i was happy with my body/weight weiging about 115-117 (i'm only 5'2, so this was a good weight for myself)
then i got married, got comfortable and stopped being a crazy work-out girl and havn't watched what i eat. i'm now closer to 122-125. this is not SO bad but i just don't feel as healthy as i could be and want to get back to where i was. i tried watching what i eat but then i miss certain foods that i'm 'not allowed' to eat and then will binge.. i also can't seem to get back on a workout schedule
sorry so long but i need some serious motivation.. how do you girls stick to eating healthy without missing the 'junk food'.. and how can i get back into working out regularly?
thanks!

Re: Need Encouragment
I'vee been on Weight Watchers for over 3 years now. I lost 60lbs on the plan and I'm a lifetime member. I would highly recommend checking it out
I personally LOVE sweets. I'm a huge cupcake/cookie/dessert person. In order to keep that balance, I always have dessert every night. I have one of those Jello Mousse (I think its 110 calories) with some fat free redi whip.
Also, at parties, I indulge and have the cake and cookies. I'm able to do this because I know I'll be back on track the next day. One day here and there doesn't hurt.

Re: Need Encouragment
Finding a workout you love should help kick start your motivation as well as working out with friends/your DH.
My DH cares a lot about fitness and he motivates me. Somedays I feel like being lazy but if he decides to run, I can usually motivate to go with him.
I also found a class I love, Physique 57.
I workout 4-5 days a week these days but I NEVER just do a treadmill, elliptical, etc. b/c I just can't stay motivated. Find something you like doing and as you start to get better at it and see results, it pushes you more to stay focused and get in even better shape.
