Need Food ideas( and a semi vent!)
This is awful.
I knew it was too good to be true with not getting sick this PG. In the back of my mind, I always said, theres no way I can get this lucky....
With my Son it hit "harder" at 14 weeks and seems that is happening again...
I started throwing up again ( a lot) a few days ago ( I'm 15 weeks) and now seem to be nauseous all the time , all day long, and on top of that, I dont EVER feel like eating.
So you'd think I would KNOW this by now....but what are some bland food ideas you ladies eat? Or any food ideas. I need something to trigger me to want to eat.
I go way too long between eating and my Dr. Said at my last visit, he thought I should have put on a bit of weight by now and I'm down 6 lbs this week.
TIA

Re: Need Food ideas( and a semi vent!)
Honestly, when I was my sickest, I could only eat food that was really appealing to me. So I ate an entire bag of sour cream and onion potato chips in two days. That was all I could tolerate because I love the taste.
Of course, you know pasta, bread, cereal, bananas are all good too. I loved watermelon (and it was hydrating too).

How about a bagel with cream cheese? That always made my day better and pizza too.

aww donna i am so sorry. if i were you, i'd eat whatever you were craving, and make sure you eat lots of small meals, never a big one. that way if you throw it up it's less, and always having food in your stomach might make you feel less nauseous

I lived on bagels and ramen noodles for a while there....definitely not the healthiest options, but it was all I could stand at the time. What about mac and cheese?

I ate whatever it was I could tolerate, no matter what it was. Most often, bagels and pizza. You may be feeling so sick that there is nothing you even desire, but IMO if there is anything you are in the mood for or can consider eating without getting sick from the thought of it, eat it- it's better than not eating. I hope it gets better

Re: Need Food ideas( and a semi vent!)
Ugh....I feel your pain!!
The 2 things I have been eating lately are croissants (don't know why-but I had one at DD the other day and am hooked)
And then the rest of the day I feel like crap and don't want to eat. I have o force myself to eat and lately the other thing I eat is a plain baked potato. It is so boring, but I guess it is bland enough that it doesn't make me sick

I LOVED rotissary chicken - still could eat a whole one in a day if left alone.
Also, rice with cream of mushroom soup and chicken - bland, filling, easy to make.
