Need geat cream/lotion/etc for dry, cracked hurting hands

Please recommend a great cream for my dry, cracked hands...I have never had this problem before, but one of my hhands, the knuckle is even splitting and bleeding...and it hurts!

I tried Neutrogena's Norwegian Formula and Aquaphor Ointment. I did not like either one, as it seemed to never dry, and my hands felt all greasy and gross...

I love my st. ives collagen elastin lotion but it BURNS my hands that are dry...

Please help!

hubby loves curel but i find it kinda greasy

Try Bag Balm at night and sleeping with cotton gloves on. It comes in a green tin.

I get cracks on my thumb and forefingers in the winter sometimes and I find that plain old Vasoline, covered with a bandaid works great - do it just at night if you don't want to wear the bandaid during the day but the key is keeping it moist and flexible so it can heal. Use lotion frequently if you're not keeping it covered.

I know you said you tried Aquafor, but put it on at night and put socks or gloves on over it. Saves my bloody, cracked hands every time. It absorbs within a few hours, but the gloves or socks keep it from getting on your sheets.

I use Neutrogena. I know what you mean about it enver drying, but other lotions rub off. Also, with neutrogena most people use WAY too much. You literally need a teeeeeeeeny dot on your hands. That will cure the wet feeling problem

ETA: I also swear my Gold Bond Ultimate healing lotion.

I used to use Johnson's baby oil gel.
It work, but was very greasy and would wash of when I washed my hands.
I went into the Body Shop the other day and got their Hemp Hand Protector.
It worked wonders!
I had dry patches on the backs of my hands , and they were gone in a few days.

I got it for 18.50, but it's on sale now for $10

After I had my twins and them in the NICU, I was washing my hands constantly and using alcohol hand sanitizer so much, they were so cracked and I was in pain constantly.

I got a giant Bottle of Vaseline intensive care...an used gloves at night, I was better w/i 3-4 days! I love that stuff!!!!!!!
