Need Gift Ideas for a Male 30th Birthday
Not sure what to get a good friend of ours. He is turning 30 and his wife is throwing him a surprise party. I have no clue what to get him he doesn't golf or smoke cigar
Would a Gift Cerificate be ok??

That is exactly what I did for my friend's 30th. And I am all about getting a thoughtful gift, but some people are just impossible to shop for.

If he drinks find out his favorite vodka, scotch etc...
Gift certificates to ticketmaster. You can use that for concerts & sporting events.

I had a 30th birthday party for DH this past December and he mainly got gift cards or bottle of liquor / wine as gifts. I think a gift card is the safest way to go!

A guy friend of ours turned 30 and his family threw him a party. He's the type of guy who knows how to dress and knows what he likes --- very expensive tastes.
So we all decided to buy him Gift Cards to Best Buy ... by the time we were done, he had like $400-$500 in Best Buy gift cards to use as his discretion from a bunch of different people.

I would definitely do good expensive liquor or GCs.

If you really know him ... maybe something like a movie basket or something fun like that.
Like say he loves old comedies ...
Make a basket of movies, include in there old classics like Young Frankenstein, It's a mad mad mad mad world, The produceers, everything you wanted to know about sex, Mony Python, Airlplane, etc ...
