Need Good Luck Vibes, Please (and a bit of a vent)
Tomorrow is our eight week follow-up appt with the head specialist for Jordan. Last time, he upset me because he felt that Jordan's tort was still not good, although he did say there was improvement - after I had to ask him! This is THE specialist and THE best, but I just don't like his style. You wait FOREVER to see him - waiting room is not kid friendly so I'm trying to hang on to Jordan the whole time and he gets tired and frustrated. Last time, we waited an hour and fifteen minutes. So, by the time we see him, Jordan's a tired crank and yes, tilting worse than usual. As tort moms know, the tilt is going to be worse when they're teething, tired, sick, etc. Of course he is teething and has an awful cold.
Every time, he eyeballs Jordan for all of five seconds and that's it. Does not turn his head to see if he has full range of motion (which he does,) does not walk back and forth to see Jordan turn his head on his own and follow him. It just really annoys me. I'm just concerned he's going to say there is no improvement and suggest Botox shots - that ain't happening!
So, if you can spare some crossed fingers...I'd appreciate it!
Thanks for listening/reading!

Honeslty, he may be the "best" but it doesnt seem like he is helping or doing much of anything for you.
I'd find a more chil-dfriendly Dr that will work with you and support you.

i do agree....he may be the best doesn't always come with any bedside manner...
try and find someone you feel you can talk to, etc..
