need haircut TODAY in the RVC / Oceanside / Baldwin / Lynbrook area...
Recommend a salon / stylist who might be able to fit in a same-day appointment in the RVC area.
I am in desperate need of a haircut and my regular girl can't fit me in until the end of next week. To be honest, for the past two days, I was so busy and distracted that I forgot to find somewhere else to go...
Any suggestions?!
I have straight, fine hair that should be shoulder length (but is way too long right now)...

Rockville Centre.
Anywhere in Baldwin, Rockville Centre, Oceanside, Lynbrook, etc. would work.
I did a search and found lots of recommendations for Salon Osio in Oceanside... I may just call there and go with luck of the draw.
I am nervous with my hair, but seriously, it's the longest it's ever been, and it's driving me crazy!

If you don't find a place you like in those areas, I would reccomend Maximus in the source mall......It's worth the trip...........

Normally, traveling isn't a problem (my regular girl is in Greenvale!) Today, however, I'm short on time!
I made an appointment at Osio in
Oceanside b/c there were tons of recommendations here. *fingers crossed* it goes okay.
ANYTHING is better than the mop on my head right now...

If you want to drive to Long Beach you should def. try George's on Park Ave....Go to Lola she gives great haircuts and blowouts!

Kara, I LOVE Defusion!!!
They did my hair and make-up for my wedding and they were fabulous. My mom, sister and I use them for everything now-- cut, color, etc.
They are on Merrick Road, just past Park Ave. by the Haagen-Daaz.

Went to Osio and got a good haircut from Edith. They were running behind (much like my usual salon), BUT they were very nice about it and gave me a free conditioning treatment. The customer service was great despite the fact they were running behind.
I think I requested my hair to be shorter than I really wanted it, but it's a nice cut for sure. I cut a LOT off, though, so I just need to get used to it.
