Need Help! Are there any places on LI were there is outdoor BBQ and fields and such?
I teach in NYC and we wanted to take the kids on a field day. We don't want to BBQ, we want the place to BBQ for us! But we also want the kids to be able to play on fields.
Any suggestions?

My company hires a company to BBQ and they hold our annual summer picnic at the Syosset Woodbury Community Park. I do know that you need to reserve a date and pay a small permit fee.

I know Eishenhower Park has them, but I've never used them. I'm really not sure if you need to arrange for the space or if you can just show up.

You should check into Forest Park and just get it catered or if its a NYC school that is public, the food will be free from the cafeteria.
