Need help-bedroom decor
We are redoing our bedroom and I can't decide on a comforter.
These are the drapes I hung and the wall color is the bluish color you see in the drapes (it's not a light blue like the color in the picture, it's a teal-ly kind of color).
I can't figure out what to put on our bed-I'm thinking simple, ivory but don't want it to look like a grandmother's room.
Any ideas?

what color is the furniture?
Light wood-I want dark eventually, but that is several years away and by then I'll probably want a new bedding set too.

Re: Need help-bedroom decor
i think an solid ivory duvet or an ivory duvet with a border (yellow or teal/blue) would look great. accent the bedding with a solid quilt (yellow or teal) to fold at the foot of the bedding and solid (yellow or teal/blue) throw pillows.

Completely love this idea. The bedding really needs to be light and crisp looking. You don't want the bedding and the drapes competing with each other.
These are from Pottery Barn. These are just examples. You would have to compliment the colors that are in the curtain. Not sure if I'm seeing the right colors on the computer or not. GL! HTH!

Love these two choices. I think both would look nice with those drapes!

Re: Need help-bedroom decor
Thank you guys for the ideas-it's funny the way the colors are posting.
The curtains have a teal-ly/aspen blue, a cream/ivory and a sage green but it does look yellow-ish on here.
In any case, I think we'll keep to the plain ivory and try to incorporate a few pillows as accent.
