Need Help: DD is waking up at 4 AM for the past two nights screaming and crying...

...and she won't go back to sleep. She screams and cries so hard that she is practically choking. I caved in after 30 minutes of CIO last night and brought her into bed w/ me & DH. She fell asleep right away.

Ilive in a small apartment building and her nursery is right by the front door. I am so worried that this will continue and I will disturb the neighbors if I let her CIO.

I'm so tired...

So my question is, does CIO work for the middle of the night or just when the baby is put down to sleep...b/c we don't really have problems with that. She is approaching 8 months and will be going to daycare next month and I am scared of making this a habit.

I don't know what to do...

Sadie has done that too a couple of times in the last two weeks. I just went in and sat int he rocking chair and rocked her till she fell back asleep. I think it had to be either teething or gas or something.
