Need help determing ankle break/bruise (w/pic)
DH got hit in the ankle playing softball the other night and it's still bothing him a bit.
His concern is, he got hit up more by the end of his hairline on his leg but the brusing is down low. I assume it's because he is standing all day at work, but is this a concern?
We are wondering if we should get an x-ray to see if he could have fractured his ankle...?
Advice is appreciated, thanks!

Does it hurt when he puts weight on it? To me it looks really badly bruised , but I do not have x ray vision- I would get an xray, the worst they can tell you is it is bruised . That is my honest opinion, and it looks like it hurts- I hope he feels better!

I had bruising in that area when I broke my ankle snowboarding.....if he is in a lot of pain get the xray
