Need help finding a rug for Ava's room...
I'm so bad at this. I want to bring in more colors because her room is a bubblegum pink with brown trim. Her bedding is striped and gingham. I'll attach pictures, but any suggestions would really help! TIA!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe a green? Like bright apple green? Pink and green are really cute together for a little girl room.
Were you doing an area rug or wall to wall carpeting? That would make a big difference to me on how bright I would go.

Oh definitely an area rug. I was definitely thinking green, but solid or with a pattern? I'm so lame when it comes to this stuff!

I saw the flower one from Target. Do you think 30x40 inches is big enough? Her room, as you can see, is pretty tiny, so that should be fine, right?

30x40? it said 5'x7'
The one I saw was 30x40 inches! I have to go look again. I AM taking codeine, afterall

I got a rug very similar looking to the ones from Pottery Barn - but it was from Target. It was I believe $89 last summer. Try there...they have some cute ones for kids rooms. Sydney's room is light pink with a hot pink trim...similar to Ava's room.

I would do just a simple green area rug and matching curtains...they look great together, and are inexpensive to buy. Try Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, or Kohl's. I would do a lighter green or a kelly green...

I have that Target one for my DD's room. It is 5x7 ($99) and super cute. She's had it for 2 years now and it wears well. And no awful shedding like the one from PBK that I have in my boys' room. it's not as plush as a PBK one (obviously) but it's very nice.
ETA: I see you said her room has the brown in it - did you want to work that into the rug as well?

You can also get a light green carpet remnant from Home Depot. We got one for DD's nursery in our old apartment. It was 6x8 and $50.

These look like they have the same colors as her bedding in it.. it's from Rugs USA. I got DD's area rug from them..
They have tons of rugs, take a look!

Affordable solids from Company Kids
(I would do a solid - it'll grow with her more)
or with some texture (well, a lot of texture)

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone. I haven't been home all day to see all the great responses. I marched my behind into Target today, and sitting there was the most perfect rug! It's kind of the best of both worlds between solid and patterned. The middle is pink, and there's a border with all different colored stripes. The stripes are almost identical to the stripes on her bedding And the best part....only $47!!!!! It's 4x6 and I'm totally happy. Thanks for all the help my dears!
