Need help from the fabulous designers from the home board!!
1. for my entryway table:
2. for my bathroom - no pic (can look at my bathroom "style" in my album) but I have seen lately on HGTV that they are doing linen closets with no door - like this:
any ideas for baskets / candles, etc?
eta: My chandelier in the entryway is different, it is now a crystal one. if that makes a difference!

Re: Need help from the fabulous designers from the home board!!
LOL I posted and ran and realized I didn't explain!
I need something to put on my entryway table. Right now its just a candle and its boring. im not good at making stuff and putting it in vases, so any suggestions would be great!
Also, I wanted to see if anyone had linen closets with no doors and what they looked like!~

Re: Need help from the fabulous designers from the home board!!
first of all, love your entryway. Gorgeous! I would go to Home Goods and look for something. It could just be a vase with nothing in it if you want. Maybe candle pillars, maybe three of them with candles of your color choice.
As for the linen closet, love the idea about of the "no door", but not sure if I could do it or not. But if you are looking for baskets, I would check out Home Goods for sure, lots of different baskets there. I went to the one in Port Washington last week and they had over two isles of baskets or totes. And IKEA has different things too, but not as much as Home Goods.
Here are some pics I found.
I just found this on my favorite blog. Check out the details for how they did theirs in their home. YoungHouseLove.com

Re: Need help from the fabulous designers from the home board!!
Thanks for the help!
where we added the linen closet is narrow and it would be hard to get a door in (possible, but hard) so im liking the idea of no door.
I didn't see many baskets in my homegoods (pt. jeff), i'll have to keep an eye out.

Re: Need help from the fabulous designers from the home board!!
the entryway seems a bit dark and lacking in color so i would add a pop of vibrant color on the table. a red vase filled with berry branches or curly willow on one side of the table and a grouping of 3 smaller items (varying heights) on the other side. stack a few decorative books in the center.
to add even more color, i would also replace the current accent rug with something more vibrant.
it's hard to see the width of the table and mirror but i think you need to "dress" the walls on either side of the mirror.
walls sconces would look nice, not necessarily these but something similar in shape and place a few decorative items on each shelf.
another idea is to place the candle sconces on either side of the mirror. i see one in the pic, do you have another? i can't see the whole wall but from viewing at this angle, the current candle sconce seems lonely and a bit out of place. to tie in the red, replace the white candles with red candles.
add art to the stairway wall.
