Need help. I dont know the difference between a megapixel and a megaburger!
Im looking for a new digital camera. Mine is a Kodak easy share. I just bought it a few months ago but it's a hunk of crap and the warranty is up! It turns on when it feels like and I dont want it to have an attitude when I give birth. So...What kind of cameras do you all have?? Thanks for your help.

CR rated Canon as the top performer in a lower priced category (no more than $300).
if you want to go SLR - I highly recommend Nikon! My DH LOVES his and the pictures are truly magnificent!

I'm a digital camera junkie. Love cameras. Anyway if your looking for a good reliable camera, I would stick with the 3 major companies: Canon, Nikon, and Olympus. Although they have cameras that are well over 10 megapixels, anything over 4mps is fine. Also, when buying something with a zoom lens, make sure its a zoom that manually moves. Do not rely on digital zoom, because the more it zooms, the grainer the pictures gets. HTH!!

DH got me the Canon Power Shot SD630. I LOVE it! A lot of great features, easy to use. VERY tiny with a big screen. The only draw back that some people have with it is that it does not have a view finder. I don't care about that though.
