Need help making coffee--Anyone ever make Dunkin Donuts coffee?

Okay, so I have been making coffee for a number of years now and I know what I am doing but this morning I got stuck.

DH gave me a bag of Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla coffee as a stocking stuffer and I was so excited to try it today. So I went about making it like normal and it came out really weak. Then I looked on the package and it says to use TWO tablespoons for every 6 ounces.Chat Icon

Anybody here ever make DD coffee? If this how I do it?

Help!!

I've never made DD coffee before I always stick to the rule - 1 tbs per cup. Not sure how that works - and obviously not a lot of help but thought I would throw it out there.

For DH and I, I use 1/3 level cup of coffee to 6 cups of water.

I generally go by the rule of 1 TBS for every 2 cups... I dont know how that converts but that is for Starbucks coffee.

I usually work on the two to one ratio (two cups of water, one tablespoon of coffee). According to DD, it sounds like 2 Tbsps to one cup. That sounds like A LOT!

And the saddest thing is that it smelled so good when I made it and then tasted like cr@p.

I have always used 1 scoop (from Gevalia) for each cup. DH said it was weak, so I use rounded scoops now.

I would try to make 2 cups according to the directions, then go from there. But always use the same thing to meaure!

Same here..1 TBS for every 2 cups...and I always add another 1/2 TBS for a little extra strength...comes out perfect.

I do this also, 6 cups of water = 3 TBS of coffee.

Funny b/c we have been practicing to get this coffee right in our own coffeemaker.

Finally figured out on Christmas.

Example: 8 tablespoons of coffee to about 7 cups of water (which comes to about 6 cups b/c for some reason a cup of the water gets evaporated).

8 tablespoons of DD = 6 cups water

Well, I like my coffee strong like MUD so I use 2 TBS for each cup. But no one else likes the way I like my coffee...

Now my grandma, she makes a mighty fine cup of coffee. I love her.
