Need help w/school project!
Caiden needs to build something out of 100 items of the same thing to celebrate the 100th day of school. 
Examples: 100 googly eyes to make a pair of glasses, pretzel sticks to make a porcupine, etc. They really gave bad examples.
Can anyone give us some suggestions? It needs to be really creative since the kids are going to be leaving them out for other classes to look at. Any ideas???

How about the letter C for Caiden out of 100 pieces of candy?
Is he in Kindergarten? If so, how do they expect them to create something like the examples they gave??? That would be challenging!

I think someone else just actually made a similar post 
My suggestion was to make a giant gumball machine poster and use bingo markers in different colors to make 100 gumballs !
You could also make a fish bowl and glue 100 goldfish crackers inside...Maybe cover it with clear cellophane or saran wrap
Or maybe make a giant cereal bowl, and glue 100 Cheerios inside ..

DS is in Pre-K and has to do a hat covered in 100 items. I'm my head because A) what kind of hat B)what the heck am I going to cover it in?

My DD is in K and they have this project too to celebrate the 100th day of school. Except we can not use anything edible.
The examples we had were buttons and paperclips and glue then in some pattern or picture.
I really like the gumball idea and Micheals also sells fuzzy pom pom things we can use. So far our only other ideas were beads to look like a rainbow or 100 icecream cone pictures arranged by flavor! LOL

Why do you keep rolling your eyes? FYI, it's a very common thing to celebrate nowadays. As you do the project, help your DS sort the items into groups of 10, so he can begin to understand that 10 groups of 10 is 100!

Why do you keep rolling your eyes? FYI, it's a very common thing to celebrate nowadays. As you do the project, help your DS sort the items into groups of 10, so he can begin to understand that 10 groups of 10 is 100!
I don't get the either, this seems to be a common (and FUN) thing to do!
I like the C in candy idea!

Noah did made a collage using 100 pictures of himself. Robbie made a giant dollar bill and used 100 pennies to outline it.
Maybe.. 100 sticks of gum to make a tummy ache? 100 Cotton balls to make a baby chick?

My DD put on red lipstick and kissed the poster paper 100 times She was so happy with herself. She showed every kiss goodbye that she gave her mommy before school! Corny but Sooooo cute!
