Need help with a gift for a 7 year old girl-special needs
The child is turning 7. She's developmentally delayed and the mom requested anything educational for her. Specifically for math and fine motor.
I'm stuck! Everything I looked at I wasn't sure if she would be able to use. Maybe I should get a gift card.....
Any suggestions? Or any suggestions for stores? TIA!

I don't know the name of the catalog but maybe do a search online. The drs office that my grandma goes to had an awesome catalog. My mom works with special needs children, so I'll ask her when she gets home.

Go to a teacher store like LLWeans and get some math manipulatives like shapes, counting pieces, numbers, color blocks and etc...

google "different roads to learning" -they mostly have books and resources for parents and educators, but they may have toys too. Also super duper publications. You may want to go to LL Weans - a educational store - they have some great things there!

i'm a speech therapist that works with kids with special needs. try super duper publications. they should have some good stuff in there. i think the website is www.superduper.com.
