Need help with an Italian expression

So I have been trying forever to find the meaning of an Italian expression my grandfather used to call me.

It sounded like bits a geel but I have no idea how it was really spelled. Supposedly it meant little peach but that doesn't really make sense

Anyone have any ideas?

I think you mean Pesce geel not sure this is spelled correctly Which loosely means little fish and is ussually used to refer to a little boys little boyChat Icon

nah, this was supposed to be something about peach. It was a term of endearment my grandfather used with ME.

Coming from a very italian family, I am thinking that the PP is correct. And knowing how pronunciation goes at times, he might have pronounced it "beach-a-geel" and dropped the a from the end.

Okay. Sounds good.

My grandfather died when I was 7 so I have very faint memories of him saying it.

Little one sounds right.
