need help with ideas for grab bag gifts

DH and i are going to a holiday party next weekend and they are doing 2 grab bags- 1 for the men and 1 for the women.

each gift has to be $25.
What would be some good ideas for gifts for the guys and gifts for the gals?

Gloves - I am always losing one and like to have a pair for each coat pocket plus the car.

Auto open/close umbrellas are in that price range.

Coffee sampler set

chocolates

bottle of wine

With 2 people going, that can be a pricey grab bag!

Godiva is always a great idea.

You could also do a $25 Visa or Amex gift card (i know, cop out gift, but who would complain about that?!)

GC for movie tickets

Tiffany has Christmas ornaments that are $30 (but I guess that's too much)

Here are some ideas from the Real Simple website:

For Women:

Snow & Graham Desk Calendar, $18
Brighten a bland desk (and her days) with the bold graphics of this calendar, which comes in a CD case that folds back to serve as a stand.
www.seejanework.com

J.K. Adams Novelty Boards (rooster and pig), $25 Each
Almost too cute to put a knife to, these handcrafted maple slabs take the “bored” out of cutting.
www.jkadams.com

Other People’s Love Letters, $23
Forget reality shows. This charming collection of real-life love notes makes those amorous confessions on The Bachelor look, well, made for TV.
www.amazon.com

Fuzz Votive Holders, $15
This frosted-glass pair outshines other holders, casting a dappled glow through the patterned blue lining. (Double walls keep the outsides cool, so they won’t burn hands.)
www.2jane.com

For the Men Folk:

LamsonSharp Bâtard Folding Picnic Knife, $25
Who says real men don’t picnic? They will when they can slice bread with this hardy blade, then use the attached corkscrew to open a bottle of wine.
www.lamsonsharp.com

The Book of General Ignorance, $20
Your favorite trivia buff will relish learning what’s really in a camel’s hump and other valuable facts. (Psst! It’s fat.)
www.crownpublishing.com

Duluth Trading Desktop Shuffleboard Game, $15
Leave the cruise ship at the dock: The only requirements for this version are a tabletop, a partner, and a free finger.
www.duluthtrading.com

Sundance Leather-Clad Flashlight, $18
Light the way in style with this rugged old-school torch. It’s handsome enough to keep on the side table, not in it.
www.sundancecatalog.com

The Annotated Godfather, $30
An offer he can’t refuse? This screenplay is full of commentary, fun facts, and interviews.
www.amazon.com

Mile High Phone Charger, $20
For He Whose Cell Phone Always Dies, this handy charger runs off an AA-battery and includes four different phone adapters.
www.flight001.com

Magwear Handyman’s Helper, $20
With this magnetic “pin cushion” for nails and screws strapped to his wrist, you’re off the hook as standby assistant. (No overnight shipping.)
www.spoonsisters.com

Fred Flare Ping Pong Paddle Set, $25
Just add a table. This kit contains the rest: two paddles and three balls packed to play on the go in a cheeky carrying case with shoulder strap.

DH does this at his job - he buys a bets buy gift card for the man, and a kohl's/target gift card, so that whomever gets it will always find something nice for themselves.

Booze! I go to a party every year where they do a kind of grab bag game and the bottles of liquor are always the biggest hit.

I went to the Coach outlet and got a pair of gloves for like $22. They're black knit and have a leather "Coach" tag sewn on.

Re: need help with ideas for grab bag gifts

DH and I are doing a grab bag this year with his siblings and spouses (there are 7 siblings so we usually do secret santa).
We both had to get a gift that could be for a man or woman and for $20.
I got a neck massager for my gift.
DH said he is going to get blockbuster gift cards and popcornand coady for his.

ETA: Another idea is a game. I wanted to get one of the Scene Its but they were all over my limit.

I jsut go a digital ornament, you can either hang it on the tree or place it on the stand it comes with. It holds about 50pics, and I love it. I believe it was originally $40 but on sale for $25-$30.
