Need help with leaky diapers

Hey girls!!

There was a post on here a few weeks ago about babies leaking through their diapers and their backs being soaked from it. Can anyone tell me who started it? I just ran a search and looked back about 2 months and i can't find it!!

I am having a similar problem - last night my ds leaked through 5 diapers. We kept having to change his clothes - it was awful. We need some advice but i know it's been discussed very recently!!

Thanks!!

Re: Need help with leaky diapers

I def. posted about this recently. What helped us was going up a size. It's worth a try - no leaks for us sinceChat Icon

I'm not sure of the post.

If he's leaking out of them at night because he's soaking through, you go up a size.

If it's going up the back, try tightening the diaper more. In the beginning, I think everyone learns that they're not doing it tight enough.

Re: Need help with leaky diapers

I asked this question a week or two ago, but there may have been other posts since. DS was leaking through 5 different brands of newborn diapers. Most people suggested going up a size, but I thought this was a little crazy since thos diapers were so huge on him. Well, I went up to Pampers size 1 and lo and behold, everyone was right. No more leaks!!!!

We had this prob in the beginning I remember...going up a size and remembering to point the pee pee down before you close the diaper made it stop :) Good luck!

Re: Need help with leaky diapers

We took everyone's advice and went up a size and we didn't have a problem last night!!

Now if we could only figure out how to get him to sleep....:)
