Need help with spring coat-raincoat if its not raining?
Im trying to find an in-between coat that is stylish enough to wear to work or out to dinner. All I'm really seeing trench-type coats. How does this work? Do people wear these when its not raining? I like a swing-style coat...can anyone recommend a nice coat for the spring?

I think trenchcoats are timeless and don't necessarily have to be worn only when it's raining. I think of them as more of a spring jacket/coat.

Agreed - I got a Burberry from DH for Chrsitmas and I will wear that bad boy EVERY single tempatrue appropriate day I can - rain or shine

Good to know, thanks! So I had to go look on Burberry and fell completely in love with this one. Now to figure out how to explain to DH that I need to spend our entire tax return on a coat.

THAT is absolutely gorgeous - but IMO it's trendy and not at all an "in your closet forever" piece -
I don't know the exact name of mine, but it's the traditional trench

There's a Burberry outlet upstate that you can call and see if they have the coat you want in stock.
