Need help with the cold wether
What are you dressing DC in when you take them out? DS only is outside on his way to and from the car. I don't kmow what to dress him in. The bundleme looks way too warm for the car. What do you ladies do?

Re: Need help with the cold wether
I am in the same position. Sorry I cant help. Every day its different. The bundle me, he sweats in. his carseat doesnt fit a big jacket.
I have this one-pice ELMO warm fleece outfit. It looks like a snowsuit, but its not as heavy. Then when I goto the mall, I just take the top of it off or else he sweats.
Otherwise I layer him in clothes and put a warm blanket around his carseat.
I always make him wear a hat though

From the house to the car he wears a hat that covers his ears and a heavy jacket and then from the car through a parking lot I put a fleece blanket around his legs.

How about using the bundle me but unzipping it once you are in the car?

Re: Need help with the cold wether
I just dress him in his regular clothes, put a hat on him and place him in the carseat with the bundle me..He doesnt fit in his car seat with a jacket on and the bundle me...and IMO I rather he be in the bundle me...seems much warmer..
ETA; once we are in the car or the store..I unzip the bundle me and fold it down..

Re: Need help with the cold wether
I have the bundle me, DD does not like it too close to her face so there that goes when she will only allow it to her chest and HAS to have her arms out!
I put a blanket on her, and a fleece jacket with a hood.
As soon as it gets more colder, she has a winter jacket or a pram we can use.

This is what I do. I love it because I don't have to worry about her getting too hot and cramped in a jacket while in the car. I unzip the bundle me once she is in the car but if it is really cold in the car I put a light blanket (which I keep in the car) over her until the car warms up. Its easy to reach back and remove the blanket when I'm at a stop sign or light.
