Need help-writing letter to principal requesting a teacher for my child
How should I start it? I don't want to seem demanding, but I really want my child to get a good teacher for third grade.
I wasn't happy with the teacher this year at all :(
Any advice would be appreciated!

I would think about what teaching style would work best for your child. I would list your child's strengths and learnign styles...do you want someone structured, sensitive, challenging, etc.

I would start by stating your child's personality traits, educational concerns/ goals. Add what type of teacher your child needs to really excel, state the qualities. I am in the process of writing a similar letter. I plan on saying that I know all the teachers are awesome, but I would really appreciate if she could be placed with Mrs. _________. Thank you for your constant support, etc. Good luck!
