need ideas for a small extra room
i have a small room thats outside of the bathroom. Unfortunately there isn't a window in it otherwise it would have been great for a cute little nook with window seat. One part of the room has a closet which i use as the linen/supply closet.
WHat could I do with this little room other than an office area?
This is a pic of it please ignore the bags and things in there it was taken while everything was being moved in
ok better pics

This room is next to a bathroom you said?
Where is it located in your house? Is it near the master bathroom, near the kitchen?

I'm in an apt. It's located directly outside the bathroom. I think it was meant to be a changing area, but I don't want to use it for that. Then I was going to make it a walk in closet area but I have 3 large closets which is more than enough for me right now.
Other option is to put a chaise (sp) in there and make it a small sitting/reading room, but then I might as well make it into an office
Guests have to go in this room to get to the bathroom

Ohh didn't realize you were in an apartment. I would have suggested knocking down the wall. Or making it a closet or pantry, depending on where it was located.

yeah I know the closet could have been knocked out, but I like having the closet right outside the bathroom so I have all supplies in there and then linens and towels as well. Its convenient.
The only reason I don't want to make it into office/sitting area is because when I do work at home I sit up at my counter in the kitchen, two I have a sofa and 2 arm chairs in the livingroom area so I don't really need an extra "Sitting room". I'm at a loss what to do with this room and its been empty for months

Re: need ideas for a small extra room
do you do crafts or sew? it would be great for that do you collect anything that could be displays on shelves? or it could be a gallery with a pretty rug & pictures on the walls. Even though you don't want to work in there could you use a filing cabinet & maybe put your printer, scanner & other stuff like that in there? "Keeping rooms" are really popular now too, ultra organized shelves with baskets & bins to keep extra household stuff.
I love little unusual spaces like that, I hope you figure out something good for it!

I like this idea. I think that room is so cute, BTW. I love little details like that.

I was also going to suggest a craft or keeping room.
