Need ideas for a wedding gift

If I wanted to give a small gift card ($75) as a wedding gift to my friend (there is only going to be a small ceremony with immediate family), which stores are restaurants would you suggest?

I know there is:

Macy's
Bed Bath and Beyond
Fortunoff

I am having a block on restaurants. They live in Manhattan.

Any other ideas where $75 would go a long way?

One of our registries was for Target. I have a ton of gc's in my safe for when we move into our house and will need stuff.

I also have a ton of Macy's gc's because that was where our other registry was.

Only problem I see with Target is if she is one of those people who doesn't want to leave the island of Manhattan to go to Target in Queens or Brooklyn ;).

Maybe Home Depot? I know there is one in Manhattan, and even if you live in an apartment, I think you can utilize a HD gc for improvements.

What about Visa or Amex - then they can use it everywhere?
