Need ideas for photo locations.......
So I lose my spot in the park on Saturday b/c of the fall festival.
I need someplace that can handle toddlers, not in the blaring sun in Suffolk county.....preferably in the Smithtown/Huntington area.
Anyone have any suggestions??????

Northport Village Park. I took my wedding pics there. There's a park so the kids can play and some beautiful scenery. There's also lots of trees so you can have some shady area pics, and some more sunny ont he dock. Lots of options there.

Nissequogue State Park in KP - the old psych center buildings could make for interesting back drops (there are some pretty buildings!), but even if you don't want them, there's plenty of landscape/trees/grass & water.

Re: Need ideas for photo locations.......
Just got your message. What about Crab Meadow Beach with the overhang? or Blydenburgh park (very shady)?

You could also trty Makhama Beach right off of 25A in Northport-at the end of Makhama Rd. It is a rocky interesting beachy backdrop

You sure can hide it. It's not in any of my pictures.

As I recall, it's behind a bunch of tall shrubs/trees, so you can keep it out of sight pretty well.

It's not Northport but I took my picturew at the Roslyn Duck Pond and they came out gorgeous. They have a lake and a little bridge.

I don't have any suggestions, but just wanted to know if you got my FM/email (for some reason my computer says the email isn't valid?) about booking a photo shoot for my sister in-law.
I'm sure you've been super busy, so get back whenever you get the chance, I'm in no rush anyway.
THanks

I think she means about hiding it from the kids she will be photographing! Once they see a playground, they will not want to take pics!!
