Need ideas on what to make for a b day gathering- to serve dinner or not to?

It is my sisters b day and my Aunt and Uncle and maybe cousin will be coming over- i am not sure if I want to serve dinner- my Aunt hardly has us over for anything- maybe once a year- she is not too big on spending even though they do have the $$, she has always been like this- when I have people over, I like to put out a nice spread- so, I was going to have them over for coffee and cake- then I was thinking maybe appetizers and finger foods- need some ides or ideas for a dinner that is not too expensive- I am getting a little bit sick and tired of feeding them all the time. TIA

7 layer dip
cheese and crackers
veggie platter
franks in a blanket
b- day cake
chips

should I add anything else or just give them dinner and cake- if dinner what should I get- maybe a big deli platter? hero? BBQ? what would you do?

If everyone is local, then I think that having them for just cake, coffee, and dessert is fine!

i think finger foods are fine!! something to nosh on. i like what you listed..
maybe add some hummus and pita chips..
