Need ideas/suggestions for Xmas decorating....

We have a thihck crown molding in our living room. A few years ago I bought Xmas light holder hooks and stuck them up there to hang lights. They were small plastic hooks w/ sticky backs. Only hafl of them stuck, the others fell.

I am looking for a good idea on how to get the xmas lights to hang up there. PS we're hanging the icicle lights.

I find those Command hooks with the sticky tabs that you can pull off afterwards work really well. I use them in my classroom and have used them around our windows the last 2 years for our x-mas lights
