Need old version of WW help!

Ok, I'm going to start WW again tomorrow (hopefully) on my own, but I can't remember exactly about the points, weights, weekly extra points and nursing points.

Can someone give me the breakdown on the points? It's been a long time since I've done WW.

I know it's 24 points per day for over 174 lbs, right? I need the rest of the breakdown. And how many "extra" points a week do you get and how many extra points per day for nursing.

Thanks so much!

Re: Need old version of WW help!

The program has changed A lot. Your best bet is to have a leader explain to you all the points. When you weigh in they will give you your daily points target (which will be somewhere between 29 and 71). The new system is slightly complicated and difficult to explain. Once a leader goes over it with you though you should be fine.

The old system is 35 flex points. But fruit and veggies ARE NOT free. You need the points slider to figure out how many points everything is.

Your best bet is to join and do the new version of Weight Watchers that way you can pull up the points online and track that way.

Fruits are free now, which is huge because it helps you to make smarter choices.

Re: Need old version of WW help!

The program when you have a certain number of points based solely on weight is 3 programs ago. Since then, WW had introduced an updated Flex/Core program, Momentum, and now Points Plus.

Flex/Core and Momentum are no longer part of WW terminology. Neither is "points." Everything is now "Points Plus." So if you go to a meeting or do WW online, and you try to work with the old programs, it will not work. EVERYTHING is geared toward Points Plus now.

As another poster mentioned, your best bet is to start off new with Points Plus. It works, it works great, and it's the most innovative program WW has come out with in the past 15 years.

Re: Need old version of WW help!

also i know a ww leader might not recommend it, but since it is free registration you could pay for 1 weigh in get the books for the new program and try to do it at home. i don't have the self control to do this and lose weight.
Sometimes ww is not in the budget.

I do the old old version (23 pts a day). It has changed so many times since I started in 2001.
