Need Opinion..Level II related
Ok, so yesterday I had to go for a follow- up for my level II, (the baby wasnt cooperating the first time to get everything they needed), the Dr. pretty much did the entire thing over again because she was getting much better shots. She said everything was perfect and looked fine, but of course I have to find something to worry about, soooo....
The first time I went the heart rate was 163, this time it was 147. I asked her why it was so much lower and she said that it depends on what the baby is doing. The more active, the higher the rate. Ok, but she was complaining on how the baby was "rockin and rollin" in there. Does the baby's heart rate really fluctuate that much? It has always been in the 160's when i went.

Yes, it does. I read in a few places that the baby's heartrate decreases as the pregnancy progresses. When I first went the heartbeat was 153. Now, at 24 weeks, it was around 130bpm or so. Remember, too, a lot depends on what you're eating. If you have caffeine every morning and then the morning of the level 2 you don't, that will effect the heartrate...

yes don't worry - when I had my non stress test the rate went from the 140's into the 160s and back and forth the entire time
